Description
Do you struggle with chronic knee pain or discomfort, particularly in day to day movements, such as tying your shoelaces, bending down to pick something up or getting up out of a seat?
Then it is time to consider KNEEHAB!
This new 6 week course will work on identifying your own personal imbalances and weaknesses in key muscles that support the knees and hips.
You will benefit from small-group personal training, tailored to your needs, as Adam takes you through key movements to isolate individual muscles and work on restoring mobility and strength.
The tempo won't be set high. Along with the exercise, there will be plenty of space for discussion around how to get back to your activities pain-free, with improved strength and balance.
The goal is to achieve a balance of the muscles in your legs, working on weaknesses, with a particular focus on typically underdeveloped muscles that underpin and support the knee.
With movement testing along the way, by the end of the course you will:
- Be able to see a measurable improvement and progression in strength and stability.
- An increase in your range of motion and reduction in knee associated pain.
- An understanding of how to continue strengthening your knees and improving your balance.
- Be well on the way to regaining your flexibility and movement with confidence.
This course is suitable for anyone who can relate to these issues, however if you are less than 16 weeks post-surgery, it will be too soon for you.
Not sure whether you would be a good fit? Adam will offer a free consultation to talk you through the programme and your individual needs, so that you can book with confidence.
If you struggle with your knees but don't consider it to be restrictive in your day-to-day movement, then we do have a more advanced KNEEHAB: Progression course that may be more suitable.
