Do you struggle with knee pain or discomfort, whether from a previous skiing injury or simply a sedentary desk based work regime that leaves you feeling stiff & tight at the end of the day? Struggle with simple tasks such as coming up and down stairs, or crouching down to do the gardening?
Then it is time to consider KNEEHAB!
This 6 week course will work on identifying your own personal imbalances and weaknesses in key muscles that support the knees and hips, and then addressing them from both a strength and mobility aspect.
You will benefit from small-group personal training, tailored to your needs, as Adam takes you through key movements to isolate individual muscles and work on restoring a better, broader range of movement as well as strength in range.
The goal is to achieve a balance of the muscles in your legs, working on weaknesses, with a particular focus on typically underdeveloped muscles that underpin and support the knee.
In addition to the in-person sessions, there will also be NEW, app-based learning running parallel to the 6 week course so that you can practice movements on your own and maximise both your learning and progression.
With movement testing along the way, by the end of the course you will:
- Be able to see a measurable improvement and progression in strength and stability.
- An increase in your range of motion and reduction in knee associated pain.
- An understanding of how to continue strengthening your knees and improving your balance.
- Be well on the way to regaining your flexibility and movement with confidence.
- This course is suitable for anyone who can relate to these issues, however if you are less than 16 weeks post-surgery, it will be too soon for you.
